Kenneth J. Tierney joined Sims Metal Management in July 2014 as Group Vice President Safety, Health, Environmental, Community and Sustainability (SHECS). Mr. Tierney has more than 30 years of experience developing and executing global SHECS vision and strategy. Prior to joining Sims Metal Management, Ken was Vice President of Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability at Raytheon Company. Mr. Tierney is a graduate of the University of Kansas and holds an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
